Egg Kebab

Hi friends,

Today I have tried a easy appetizer. Egg kebab is a very tasty and easy snack made with eggs and mashed potatoes. It can be served as an appetizer and also as evening snack.

COURSE: APPETIZER

DIET: NON VEGETARIAN

SERVES: 2-3

COOKING TIME: 45 MINUTES

INGREDIENTS

Boiled potatoes – 2 big

Boiled eggs – 2

Green chilly – 1

Onion – 1

Crushed ginger – 1

Crushed garlic – 5 piece

Curry leaves – handful

Coriander leaves -handful

Chilly powder – 1 tsp

Coriander powder – 2 tsp

Turmeric powder -½ tsp

Garam masala – 1 tsp

Beaten egg – To fry kebab

Bread crumbs or rusk powder – As required

Salt – As required

Oil – As required

METHOD

Heat oil in a pan and add thin sliced onion and chopped curry leaves. Saute till transparent.

Now add crushed ginger and garlic well along with chopped green chilly and saute for a min.

Now add coriander and turmeric powder and mix well.

Next add chilly powder and garam masala.

Now add the boiled and mashed potato into it along  with chopped coriander coriander leaves and salt. Now mix well with the masala until the potatoes comes out well from the edges of the pan. Masala is ready and now allow it to cool.

Take the boiled egg and sliced the eggs into four halves each.

Next it’s the frying process

First wet your hand and take masala in hand and make them flat. Then place a sliced egg inside the masala and coat the egg fully with masala. Do this for all the sliced eggs.

Now dip each coated eggs in beaten eggs and coat in bread crumbs or rusk powder.

Deep fry each kebab in oil. Serve the kebabs hot with tomato ketchup.
